The relevant comorbidities in Chronic Heart failure that requires medical attention are ischemia, Hypertension, diabetes, depression, Renal dysfunction and kidney injury, Anaemia and Iron deficiency, liver and bowel dysfunction, cachexia and Muscle wasting. Iron deficiency in Heart failure has multiple causes like blood loss, Malabsorption and Malnutrition, Reduced Iron stores, inflammation and reduced Iron mobilisation.
