Seizures in seniors: Medical and surgical outcomes
The lecture will discuss major issues and outcomes on epilepsy management and will highlight how new technology in therapies will help in treating patients. By 2020, hydrophones in radio curing epileptic seizures are expected to cure patients aged 60 and beyond. The diagnosis changes based on sex of the patient, as treatment changes based on the seizures, tend to alter the treatment. It is often difficult to treat children suffering from epilepsy due to difficulty in interacting with them, as selection of medication depends on engagement with patients. Quite surprisingly recent studies have shown that epilepsy in the young patients is becoming quite frequent.
This lecture will focus on these different elements of epilepsy treatment and therapy.Enroll in LMV0016
