About This Course

The comprehensive course in knee arthroplasty covers principles to advances in knee arthroplasty and is specially designed to provide orthopedic thorough didactic and practical training about the use of smart tools and their subsequent impact on total knee arthroplasty. These aspects of knee arthroplasty will be delivered by the renowned American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons faculty and will lead through the recent best practices as well as new and smart technologies to enhance the patient's outcomes and speed in performing these surgeries. The program is a single live lecture of 60 minutes each on SMART TOOLS IN ARTHROPLASTY delivered by renowned experts in the field and an interactive session of live questions and answers that shall be attended by AAOS faculty to address the doubts, clinical issues in the subject and they, in turn, can provide the care in the best interest of the patient.

Meet the Instructor

Dr. Matthew Stewart Hepinstall
MD, FAAOS

Dr. Matthew S. Hepinstall is an orthopedist in New York, New York and is affiliated with NYU Langone Hospitals. Dr. Hepinstall is the Co-Director, Center for Robotics & Navigation, NYU Langone Health Faculty, NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and has been in practice for 14 years. He specializes in hip & knee replacement. He performs anterior approach hip surgery and robotic hip & knee surgery. He has a special interest in using technology to improve the quality and reliability of joint replacement outcomes.
