Duke Neurology Department’s Recent Research Highlights Promising Brain Tumor Therapy and Stroke Treatment Validation

The Duke Neurology Department has made significant contributions to the field with 15 peer-reviewed journal articles in June. These articles highlight groundbreaking therapies for brain tumors and the validation of a stroke treatment for patients taking vitamin K antagonists. Neuro-oncology studies have revealed a new treatment for brain tumors, improving survival rates and reducing invasive therapies. Additionally, meningiomas and their associated seizures have been explored, discussing surgical resection efficacy and postoperative anti-epileptic drug management options.
