Dr. Duru Shah

Eminent Gynaecologist
President, The PCOS Society of India

Dr. Duru Shah is the esteemed Director of "Gynaecworld," a leading Center for Women’s Health & Fertility. As the Founder President of the PCOS Society of India, Dr. Shah has been instrumental in advancing the understanding and management of polycystic ovary syndrome. She holds significant positions such as Chair and Trustee of the Metropolis Foundation and serves as the Vice-President and Chair of the Education Committee for the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE).

Dr. Shah is also the Chair Elect of the Council of Affiliated Menopause Societies (CAMS) under the International Menopause Society (IMS) and a member of the International Advisory Board for the Centre for Research Excellence in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (CRE-PCOS). With approximately 200 publications and chapters in national and international journals and postgraduate medical textbooks, Dr. Shah is a prolific author. She serves on the editorial boards of prestigious journals such as OG, RCOG, London, Climacteric (IMS), and the Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences (JHRS) (ISAR). Her past roles include International Advisor for the Special Interest Group at the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Chair of the Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and President of the Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) and FOGSI.

Dr. Shah is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the first and only Indian to receive FIGO’s Distinguished Merit Award for her services towards women's health. Her accolades include the "Mahatma Award 2021" for Social Responsibilities and Gender Equality and Lifetime Achievement Awards from ISAR, FOGSI, and ISAR for her excellence in the fields of women’s health and infertility.

Dr. Jagmeet Madan

Eminent Nutritionist
Principal, SVT College of Home Science(Empowered Autonomous Status), SNDTWU, Mumbai

Dr. Jagmeet Madan, an eminent nutritionist and Director of SVT Research Consultancy and Collaboration Centre (SVTRCC) in Mumbai, is a gold medalist and recipient of several prestigious awards, including the 'Young Scientist Award' and Dr. Ramanathan Award from the Nutrition Society of India. She received the PNPG Grant from the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2017. Dr. Madan has led numerous international research projects on nutrition, including studies on almonds and sleep, prediabetes in adolescents, and the Urban Nutrition Gap in Mumbai.

She was awarded the Maharishi Karve Uttakrishta Shikshak Award in 2017 and led the Joint Review Mission for the Mid-day Meal program in Maharashtra (2012-2015). She has served on FSSAI Scientific Panels and is a member of the National Steering Committee of NetProFan and the National Task Force on Nutrition and Health Benefits of Millets.

Certified as a Master Trainer for Project HOPE and a FODMAP Nutritionist, Dr. Madan has contributed significantly to diabetic education in India. With 50 publications and regular columns in major newspapers, she is a respected voice in the field of nutrition.
