With at least 19 fresh cases of Omicron variant infection reported in the last 24 hours, India’s tally of the new ‘variant of concern’ cases has increased to 171 on Monday. The new cases were reported from Kerala (4) and Delhi (6) and Maharashtra (9) on Monday. According to available central and state data, the state wise count of Omicron cases is Maharashtra (54), Delhi (28), Rajasthan (17), Karnataka (19), Telangana (20), Gujarat (11), Kerala (15), Andhra Pradesh (1), Chandigarh (1), Tamil Nadu (1) and West Bengal (4).
