Research finds that inhaled CBD shrinks glioblastoma size
Inhaled cannabidiol (CBD) helps shrink the size of aggressive brain tumour –glioblastoma– by acting on its microenvironment, reveals a new study. The researchers from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University reported that Cannabidiola, a chemical extracted from Cannabis sativa plant, showed significant improvement reducing the size of glioblastoma in 7 days after administration in animal models. The research report, published in the journal Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research, also shared that the efficient method of delivery ensures the easy usage of the drug by patients.
