In the first healthcare joint venture initiative between India and Uzbekistan, Apollo Hospitals, India’s largest multispecialty hospital chain, will set up a tertiary care hospital in a joint venture with Uzbekistan’s diversified business group Marafon Group. The first phase of the 100-bed hospital, which will be mostly dedicated to cancer care, is expected to become operational this year itself.
