India on Tuesday reported 3,993 Covid cases and 108 deaths. The country’s active Covid cases have fallen to 49,948 for the first time after the first wave of the pandemic peaked in April 2020. However, the daily death rates linked to the viral disease have remained high these days and the total toll stands at 5,15,210 as of now, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
