Heart failure (HF) is a common condition and one that is projected to increase significantly in the coming decades due to the ageing population and increased survival of patients with complications of coronary artery disease. Iron deficiency is a commonly present co-morbidity in patients with Heart failure. Recently, iron replacement in patients with HF with reduced ejection fraction has been shown to improve symptoms. This initiative by Lupin CVN provides a platform to discuss this challenge. Speakers with a lot of skill and expertise in this field deliver web-based lectures, and share their interesting experiences and intriguing case-studies.
