India witnessed a rise of 2,796 deaths in Covid-19 linked fatality data on Monday, pushing the national death tally to 4,73,326. The sudden rise shown in the fatality data was mainly due to the latest updates by Kerala and Bihar. The previous instance of such a high single-day increase was on July 21, when Maharashtra updated its 14th reconciliation data of Covid deaths.   On Tuesday, the country’s total tally of COVID-19 cases had increased to 3,46,33,255, showed the Union Ministry data released on Wednesday.
