People who survived COVID-19 were more likely to report symptoms of anxiety, depression or both compared with those who did not have a history of the disease, shows data compiled in a study at the department of public health, New Mexico State University. Most of the previous studies in this clinical area have used “unique samples,” such as people actively seeking care, older patients, individuals living outside the US or those with comorbidities. said a recent paper published in the European Journal of Internal Medicine.
