Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said that he would speak to the Union Health Minister on Thursday seeking the central government’s opinion about giving a booster shot of the coronavirus vaccine to healthcare and frontline workers who had completed their two doses six to seven months ago. The chief minister had a detailed discussion with the state’s medical experts on administering the booster shots to healthcare and frontline workers and there was consensus on the same.
