The decision on the third dose of Covid-19 vaccine for all adults in India will be taken purely based on scientific need, says the government. NITI Aayog Member (Health) Dr V K Paul said on Thursday that all decisions on precaution doses are taken first and foremost based on the need and emerging knowledge on the subject is under its active consideration. Meanwhile, the government said the country’s total Covid-19 vaccination coverage has reached nearly 172 crore doses
