Fully automated eye screening platform for eye-care
A new fully automated eye screening platform developed by DigiSight Technologies that aims to address the unmet eye care needs of the underserved population. The platform, called DigiSight SmartVision, utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to analyze retinal images and detect signs of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. The system requires no human intervention, making it ideal for use in areas with limited access to eye care professionals. The platform is currently being tested in a clinical trial involving over 1,000 patients across 10 sites in India. The results of the trial will help to determine the accuracy and efficacy of the system.
