New study confirms hidden mould inside homes cause childhood asthma
Researchers at the University of Tulsa led by Richard Shaughnessy have found that hidden mould inside homes can potentially cause childhood asthma and that this could be the reason behind the rise in childhood asthma.
The research team said that they will be conducting DNA testing on homes across the country to identify mold and dampness that might not even be visible to the naked eye.
Shaugnessy said that the availability of new DNA technologies would prove to be a great advantage in tackling childhood asthma cases and prevent children from falling sick due to preventable situations.
