India reports 3.37 lakh new Covid cases and 448 related deaths on Friday
India reported 3,37,704 fresh Covid-19 cases, mainly driven by the Omicron variant, and 448 Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours ending 9 am Saturday. The country has so far confirmed a total of 10,050 Omicron variant infections by genome sequencing tests.
Meanwhile, the global coronavirus caseload has topped 345.8 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 5.58 million.
