India’s daily case spike of Covid-19 has almost doubled to touch  22,775 on Friday, as compared to around 13,000 cases registered the previous day.  The Friday surge in cases pushed the total caseload to 3,48,61,579. The latest data released by the ministry of Health and Family Welfare revealed that the country registered 406 new deaths as well in the last 24 hours. India‘s current active caseload stands at 104,781. While the Omicron tally stood at 1,431, according to the health ministry data.
