India’s Omicron tally rises to 1159
India has reported more than 13,000 new Covid cases and 268 deaths in the last 24 hours. Among these, the cases caused by the new ‘variant of concern’– Omicron – stands at 1,159, an increase of 198 cases from the previous day’s tally. The total active Covid caseload in India has now jumped to 82,402, showed Union Health Ministry data released Friday morning.
