India on Saturday reported 11,499 fresh Covid-19 cases and 255 deaths, according to health ministry’s updated data at 9 am. With today’s deaths, the country’s death toll climbed to 5,13,481. Meanwhile, as new cases have apparently dropped drastically in Mumbai,  all ward level Covid care centres have been directed to shut down. Now, the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)  has decided to have just one Covid care centre operational per zone.
