With 142 new deaths registered in the last 24 hours, ending 9 am on Thursday, India’s   total number of Covid fatalities now stands at 5,14,388. The country’s daily cases, which has been constantly declining in the last 25 days, confirmed 6.396 new infections on Wednesday and  the total active cases increased to 77,152 as on today.  With the latest data, India’s total Covid-19 case tally stands at 4,29,45,160, according to the Health Ministry.
