Intact seeds is a safe substitute for patients with sesame allergy: Study

Patients with sesame allergy can consume some quantities of intact sesame seeds, according to a recent study published in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. The researchers had investigated the effects of intact sesame seeds on 51 children over a course of 2 years to find that none of the patients reported any allergic reactions. But,  in contrast, 80 percent of the patients reported allergic reactions to tahini, or ground sesame butter. Researchers noted that their findings will positively impact the quality of lives of patients.
