Ladies with dark-without-pressure nevus are worth monitoring
A lady in her mid-40s appeared with a pigmented choroidal nevus that was expanding. There were no signs or a history of cancer. The visual acuity was normal, and the fundus examination revealed a flat, brown lesion with no concomitant problems. The features of a dark-without-pressure lesion were verified by B-scan ultrasonography and optical coherence tomography. According to visual field tests and electroretinography, retinal function was intact. The lesion may be transitory and fluctuate over time, therefore it is best to keep an eye on it. Early detection is critical for avoiding unneeded therapy.
