India posted a small reduction in the single-day surge of new Covid-19 cases on Monday. The country reported 2.38 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases, which is 20,000 less than that of the previous day. The country’s active caseload presently stands at 17,36,628, while the recovery rate is now at 94.09 percent. The total tally of Omicron cases rose to 8,891, marking an increase of 8.31 percent since the previous day.
