Metropolis MedEngage Scholarship Program, instituted by India’s leading diagnostics chain Metropolis Healthcare,  has this year rewarded 122 young medical students (final year MBBS & MD/DNB) with Awards and Scholarship grants of worth over Rs 90 lakhs. This is in recognition of their achievements in academic scores, extra-curricular activities, and presentations. Launched in the year 2018, MedEngage Scholarship Program is aimed at nurturing and nourishing the medical talents in India. The program supports talented medical students to contribute to healthcare research in the country by financially rewarding the deserving candidates and providing them with practical knowledge through Metropolis’ laboratories and a panel of experts on board.  This year’s edition of MedEngage Scholarship had received over 5000 registrations from several government and private medical colleges located across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh among others. The awardees had to go through a stringent selection process based on their academic performance and several other evaluation parameters. Global consultant Ernst & Young was the process advisor for this scholarship program.
