India approves single-dose Sputnik Light as booster
The drug controller general of India has granted emergency use authorisation (EUA) to Russia’s single-dose Sputnik Light Covid vaccine to be used as a booster dose. Hyderabad-based drugmaker Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has licensed the Russian vaccine for the domestic market and has been distributing the same in India for the last one year since its approval for primary shots.
