Medical experts advise citizens to stay hydrated as asthma attacks rise in Bangalore

Medical experts have warned the general public to increase their water intake and keep personal hygiene to keep away any sort of infections and allergies in the current situation.  As Bangalore city faces heavy downpours coupled with a lowering temperature, the city’s hospitals witnessed a rise in the number of asthma attacks, pneumonia and dengue infections. According to the doctors at Narayana Health City, the cold weather of the city is seen as promoting newer infections which are more severe in nature. 

The experts emphasised that people should wash their hands regularly and practice social distancing to bring down the possibilities of allergies and asthma attacks. They have also pointed out the effectiveness of pneumococcal and influenza vaccinations in keeping the asthma attack severity down.
