Indian drugmaker Lupin said it received US FDA approval for marketing its generic arformoterol tartrate inhalation solution for treating bronchoconstriction in patients with COPD.  It is a generic equivalent of Brovana 15 mcg/2 ml of Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc, and is indicated for the long-term maintenance treatment of bronchoconstriction in patients with COPD, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
