Vaping could double the risk of erectile dysfunction in men: Study

A study conducted by a team of researchers from the New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine, found that vaping could more than double the risk of erectile dysfunction in men. The lead researcher Dr Omar El Shahwy says in his report that the team analysed over 25,000 men aged 20 and older, divided into 2 groups based on prior heart disease diagnosis and found that 20.7 percent of the men who had prior heart diseases had issues of erectile dysfunction as well. On the other hand, 10 percent of the men from the healthy heart group revealed the issue of erectile dysfunction.

The research highlighted the issue of lack of legislation concerning the use of e-cigarettes and its close link with not only ED but other conditions such as COPD and Asthma as well.
