Verantos launches two studies on real-world migraine data analysis using AI
Verantos, a healthcare technology startup, has published two peer-reviewed publications on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in real-world migraine data analysis. These studies emphasize the significance of recording subjective outcomes, such as headache intensity and accompanying symptoms, which are sometimes missed in normal care. Migraine affects over a billion individuals worldwide, primarily women and young adults, and is associated with comorbidities such as stress and sleep difficulties. Verantos was able to construct models that reliably estimate migraine severity and define patient characteristics by applying AI to medical information. This advancement enables greater knowledge of real-world migraine care and collaboration with healthcare providers, payers, and regulators. Verantos’ study has been published in two major medical publications: BMC Medical Informatics and JAMA.
