 Dr. Brij Mohan Makkar is an accomplished Diabetologist and Obesity Specialist with extensive qualifications including MD, FIAMS, FICP, FRCP (Glasg,Edin), FACP (USA), FACE (USA), and FRSSDI. He serves as the Course Director for Cleveland Clinic Advanced Certificate Courses in Diabetes in India. Dr. Makkar holds esteemed positions such as the Current President of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India and the Honorary Secretary of the RSSDI from 2017 to 2019. He is a member of the Executive Board for Diabetes India and has contributed to the AACE International Committee in 2014, 2016, and 2017. Additionally, Dr. Makkar has been involved with the AACE Professional Business Committee from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Agarwal serves as the Director of Aegle Clinic, specializing in Diabetes Care. He is also the Head of the Department of Medicine and Diabetes at Ruby Hall Clinic. Additionally, he holds positions as a Member of the Editorial Board for BMJ Open Diabetes Research and Care Journal and as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Diabetes in Developing Countries (IJDDC).
