Dr AG Unnikrishnan is Chief Endocrinologist and CEO of the Chellaram Diabetes Institute, Pune, a leading Diabetes Institute in India and an International Diabetes Federation certified Center for Excellence in Diabetes Care. He heads Clinical Care, Research, Education at the Institute. He also heads the Chellaram Diabetes Research Center, which encourages Innovations in Diabetes-related Diagnosis and Management and the Institute’s e-Learning Academy. He has more than 220 PubMed indexed Publications. He has received 12 Awards/Orations in the last 10 years. Dr Unnikrishnan has edited various Journals like the Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism and the Journal of Thyroid Research and Practice. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Chronicle of Diabetes Research and Practice (www.cdrpj.org).
