Dr. Hema Ramamurthi is a Research Associate in the Department of Epidemiology in the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Ramamurthi is an alumna of the TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, Texas Woman’s University, and Johns Hopkins University, USA. Dr. Ramamurthi has a research career spanning over 20 years. She has directed research studies that aim to investigate best practices to intervene and prevent infectious and chronic diseases including HIV risk reduction, self-management of hypertension and epidemiological studies of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
