Asprinol-19: Enhance Immunity against COVID-19

COVID-19 has impacted the lives of millions of people globally and we still haven’t emerged out of its effect completely, as we are learning new things about the novel coronavirus with each passing day.

Covid-19 which is described as a multiorgan disease affects not only the respiratory tract but has considerable effects on the musculoskeletal system, causing excessive fatigue, myalgia, arthralgia, muscle weakness, and skeletal muscle damage, which can persist for weeks or months after the end of infection, affecting daily lives of numerous individuals named as “long haulers”.1   Comprising 40% of the human body weight, the skeletal muscle is an important organized tissue composed by numerous bundles of fiber (myofibers).

There are two current proposed hypotheses, suggesting different mechanisms of action of the virus on skeletal muscle tissue:

1. It was hypothesized that SARS-CoV-2 interacts with cells in an Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE-2) independent way and that the presence of Transmembrane Protease Serine 2 (TMPRSS2), which helps in the viral spike protein cleavage, together with other host cell receptors it is sufficient to promote virus binding and infection.

2. The second hypothesis proposes an indirect mechanism of action, considering the adverse effects of elevated inflammatory process caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection on musculoskeletal tissue.

Asprinol-19 has Triple active formula in a Combi-Pack, backed by dose-specific clinical evidence. Asprinol-19 contains Aspirin, Promethazine, essential vitamins, and minerals which help to alleviate COVID-19 symptoms and Post-COVID complications2.
