Long-Term Vegetarian Diet Linked to Lower Risk of GERD

The research found that individuals who followed a vegetarian diet had a significantly lower risk of GERD, particularly those who adhered to the diet for six years or more. While diet type didn’t show a strong impact, the results suggest that long-term vegetarianism could offer protective benefits.
