China reported 1,860 new local symptomatic Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, posting over a thousand for a fourth consecutive day. The country, which has imposed strict measures including lockdowns in many provinces in the northeastern part, said on Wednesday that most new infections are still concentrated in these areas. The authorities across China continued to implement emergency measures to contain new outbreaks.
