Efficacy of digital COPD education in combating the disease
The digital COPD education program is feasible and can increase the COPD-specific knowledge of healthcare professionals in long-term care, suggests a recent study. According to the findings of a new study conducted by researchers from the Department of Community Medicine and Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy and the Department of Public Health and Clinical Medicine, Sweden, pointed out that the predominant barriers to long-term COPD management, including lack of routines and the competence of healthcare professionals, can be successfully evicted through digital education. The study also highlighted that it had undertaken a randomised controlled feasibility trial with a convergent mixed methods design to achieve the end results.
