India on Monday recorded 1,259 fresh coronavirus cases and 39 deaths, bringing the total number of cases to 4,30,20,712, according to Union health ministry data. A reduction of 1,705 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours. The active cases comprise 0.04 percent of the total infections. The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.75 per cent, it showed.The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.22 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate stood at 0.25 per cent, the ministry said.
