The United States has extended the mask mandate on planes and other public  transits as some countries in East and Southeast Asia are still reporting  a surge of Covid cases. The Transportation Security Administration of the US  will extend its mask mandate for aeroplanes and other public transportation through mid-April, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention works with federal agencies to revise mask policies.
